Burnaby North Hockey Academy was started 17 years ago, and was one of the first full time hockey academies in the province.

The Burnaby North philosophy combines classroom success with hockey skill development.

Burnaby North is a licensed Hockey Canada Skills Academy partner. Our hockey academy is run and administered solely by Burnaby North Secondary School.

Students of the hockey academy will receive instruction on and off the ice from September to the middle of June. This duration of high level instruction will develop well rounded hockey players.

All students will receive comprehensive instruction in the areas of hockey culture, power skating, shooting, passing, team systems, goaltending.
